“Not all misfortune are bad luck, and one that doesn’t experience misfortune isn’t living.”
Those were words from my grand-father, may God be pleased with him. I remember again how he used to tell me to always love everything that happen to us, good or bad, because misfortune comes with blessings. How I miss talking to him.
Anyway, so I was planning on going back to my country this summer, but unfortunately the political situation over there and other unexpected circumstances didn’t allow me to book my flight ticket. Well it’s true that I miss being surrounded by my family, and hanging out again with my high school friends. Also, that would be an opportunity to meet and talk with BisoDev‘s clients. For that matter, I told myself that it’d be better if we simply keep skyping. Again, life’s throwing lemons on us as usual.
So I decided to grab those lemons and make limonade (in Dwayne The Rock Jonson‘s voice). One plan cancelled, come up with another more awesome plan and just do it. Boy I love it. Therefor, this is the beginning of what we commonly call “holiday”, but to me it’s bigger than that cause we’ll try doing things differently. For the past months, I’ve been having a great interest in working remotely that I wrote a post on it. This post is a result of people’s experience, opinions, articles, books I read as well my own judgement. Since BisoDev already operates remotely from Congo, it’s time to experience working remotely in a different way.
We are going to make this summer holiday count. How are you planning on spending your summer holiday? Remember #MakeItCount
